  • Australis supplied a 3.78kW system for us in Sorrento in late May 19. (12 x Mono-perc cells plus an SMA inverter). I went out for 5 quotes on the basis of extensive research; 4 got back to us but Australis was more than happy to explain the finer details to us in person (whereas with the others I got the impression I was just dealing with sales people). Sebastian from Australis is a qualified engineer, came around to us three times in all and made good with all his promises to follow up on any questions we asked.In my research on solar systems, I discovered four key things: don't get a cheap inverter; get good quality cells; be prepared to pay for a decent install from a good electrician who takes their time (rule of thumb allow a day, not 2 - 3 hours) and ensure you get the right electrical connection wiring from the array to the inverter. Australis ticked the boxes on all fronts in this regard. Very happy and very happy to recommend to others who maybe thinking of getting solar (if you calculate the numbers, it is a no brainer from an economic perspective)!!
